Health & Safety Awareness for Construction Operatives (CSCS)
Designed to provide Health & Safety Awareness for all those working in construction, this 1 day course provides the elements required to achieve the safety element of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme registration certificate. This course provides the underpinning knowledge to enable delegates to sit the CITB CSCS ‘touch test’
Safe use of Hand-Held Equipment
This ½ day course is designed to familiarise or refresh users of hand held portable equipment (electrical & non-electrical) in the range of safety aspects relating to the design, use, adjustment and maintenance of the equipment providing both theoretical and practical training exercises.
This ½ day course provides both theoretical and practical training in safe handling techniques for all workers in the Construction sector, including issues from the HSE’s latest guide Backs for the Future. This 1 day operative focused training provides practical advice and guidance on the safe use, handling, storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and dangerous substances. The programme not only incorporates those hazardous to health but also dangerous substances that may cause fire and explosion.
