NEBOSH National General Certificate
This 10 day course is aimed at managers with a responsibility for health and safety in the workplace or those persons wishing to start a career in occupational safety and health. This course develops an underpinning knowledge of health and safety legislation and its impact on your workplace, assists you to assess workplace hazards and develop control measures and develop a basis for a future career in occupational safety.
IOSH Managing Safely
This 4½ day training course is aimed at all levels of people within an organisation who have to manage risk and resources. The course aim is to provide these people with the competencies they require.
An Introduction to Accident Investigation
This 1 day introductory course is aimed at all those responsible for investigating accidents within an organisation, whether as a safety professional, line manager or safety representative. The course provides training in understanding contributory factors, investigation techniques and trend analysis, to prevent recurrence.
Accident Investigation
This 3 day course provides those persons who already have a basic knowledge of investigation techniques to enhance their understanding and skill sets. The course includes effective evidence gathering and analysis techniques, together with reviewing actions to prevent recurrence. This programme includes practical scenario based exercises culminating in a scenario based investigation exercise.
Accident Investigation for Senior Managers
A 4½ day training course aimed senior management who are involved with conducting incident and accident investigations. The course includes all the critical elements from the gathering and recording of evidence, interviewing, report preparation and presentation – a ‘must’ for all prospective senior investigators
Risk Assessment – Principles & Practise
A 2 day course is aimed at those persons responsible for undertaking risk assessments in the workplace. Completion of the course, which involves a short practical workshop, will provide delegates with an underpinning knowledge of these risk assessment techniques.
Control of Contractors
Your low risk environment can suddenly be transformed in to a high risk area, when you use external contractors. This 1 day course aims to provide managers / supervisors and those responsible for vetting contractors, to manage the safety of not only their own employees, but those of the contractor working on the premise.
Manual Handling Assessors Programme
Following on from the practical programme this additional ½ day course is designed for those responsible for conducting manual handling assessments.
Display Screen Equipment – DSE Assessors
This ½ day course should be undertaken following completion of the workstation ergonomic course and provides delegates with the skills to conduct DSE Assessments as required by the DSE Regulations 1992 (as amended)
