Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness
This 3 hour programme will benefit those working within any sector. It helps to provide candidates with an understanding of the principles of fire safety, including fire prevention and emergency procedures in the event that fire occurs. Salvus programme is site based enabling enhanced learning by visiting the workplace. An alternative classroom based programme is available.
A handy pocket sized booklet to assist memory of this important subject will be provided as part of the programme
Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles
This half day programme provides an accredited award for person who have been appointed in a fire safety role to carry out fire safety related tasks on behalf of the employer, such as Fire Wardens, Marshals and those involved with assisting others to evacuate safely.
The programme provides an understanding of the risks from fire and how to prevent them, the principles and practice of fire safety and the role of a Fire Warden or other designated person.
It will also assist the appointed person to provide induction briefings for new starters, contractors and others who come to work or visit the workplace.
