External fuel tankOver the past five years Salvus Consulting has assisted Defence Infrastructure Organisations with providing a range of services.

As part of the risk management across Bases and Sites Salvus has assisted to complete Dangerous Substances & Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) Risk Assessments.

The range of assessments has been vast from those of bulk fuel installations, POL, Cylinder storage, aircraft hangers, workshops through to powder coatings and test rigs.
With the recent update to JSP 317 requiring a two staged approach to the DSEAR assessment programme and the requirement to review DSEAR assessments annually, we can assist in meeting your statutory compliance as well as the JSP standards.

Fire Safety Design and Management

DSEAR WorkshopWith our teams familiarity with the Crown Fire Safety Standards, Salvus has also been engaged to assist fire safety during design for Cert A Approval to meet the requirements of DFRMO.

We can assist your team to undertake fire safety inspections, produce fire risk assessments, assist in design work for new buildings or those undergoing refurbishment

In addition to the high risk Dangerous & Hazardous Substances and fire related risk management Salvus also offers a wide range of services including safety inspections, audits, together with Defence and MOD focused training. MOD staff have also been provided with NEBOSH Certificate training tailored to meet base specific needs at a local base. The programme was very well received with a very high success rate
