Hazardous Substances Training Programmes
To support our range of consultancy services we have designed and developed a range of programmes for those invloved with hazardous and dangerous substances and materials.
Our ‘awareness programmes form the basis of our Supervisory and Management training programmes
COSHH Awareness
Our 1 day workshop provides attendees with an understanding of the hazards, risks and control measure for on-going safety management of hazardous substances. From avoidance techniques, through to the correct selection of Personal protective Equipment (PPE) the programme focus is upon practical management.
DSEAR Awareness
This vitally important practical 1 day workshop is aimed at all staff and supervisors who use, store and manage highly flammable liquids, LPG and process that may create an explosion risk. You will learn about hazard zones, storage and the practical day to day management of this high risk environment.
Asbestos Awareness
Our asbestos awareness programmes range from a half day general awareness which covers the harm associated with asbestos, where it is located and practical steps to avoid and respond to incidents.
Our one day programme aimed at those who may need a greater understanding due to their role, such as local authority inspectors, police and fire emergency response personnel, covers a more in-depth analysis or potential exposures, risk assessment and emergency response.
