This 1 day interactive programme is designed for all emergency services personnel to get to grips with Dynamic Risk Assessment techniques.
Building upon delegates existing knowledge of the hazards and risk assessment process this workshop contains numerous practical exercises to confirm and demonstration effective dynamic risk assessment techniques.
Safety for Strategic Level Managers in the Emergency Services
This 1 day programme can be undertaken as part of the IOSH Safety for Senior Fire Service Executives or Safety for Senior Executives IOSH approved courses and incorporates all the key elements for leading safety within an Emergency Service.
The programme includes relevant sections taken from the Institute of Directors guidance ‘Leading Health & Safety at Work’ and incorporates up to date information from the Health & Safety Executive, focused upon strategic level decision makers.
Over many years this programme has been incorporated within the Brigade and Area Managers programmes run at The Fire Service College.
Managing Violence & Aggression within the Fire Service
This 3 hour workshop will assist frontline supervisors and staff to identify the risks associated with operations that may lead to acts of violence and aggression.
The workshop which incorporates scenario based training enables attendees to assist in the prevention of an occurrence, manage and effectively respond and report acts of violence and aggression.
Accident Investigation Programmes for the Fire Service
Developed specifically for Fire & Rescue Services Salvus offers a complete suite of investigation programmes from a 1 day Introduction through to a 4.5 day assessed Senior Investigators programme.
