” I thought the course and trainer were really excellent, no complaints what so ever for the delivery of the training and the virtual adaptation was really good”.
” Great course, thank you very much for providing the training. Very informative and has raised the bar on my site”
‘Excellent course. This has provided me with further skills, knowledge & understanding to allow me to undertake the role of a Senior Accident Investigator’
All at the Club were impressed with his professional attitude, his knowledge , expertise and his ability to explain things in plain English rather than technical expressions.
I must congratulate you on your planning and implementation of this years firework event at Brockwell Park. It was the best organised event from a safety perspective that I have ever seen
Always another level, the virtual course was far more interactive than I expected. I have been on a number of Salvus courses, this is the first and not the last virtual one, I hope

Apply Your Knowledge During Practical, Onsite Exercises
The IOSH course was originally developed for one of our key construction sector clients and was formulated as an alternative to the SMSTS training course. As such, the training programme can (and often is) delivered on a construction site. This allows for a greater practical application during the courses exercises.
Our 5 day programme includes all the elements in the general course programme but also construction focussed hazards as identified below to meet the UKCG Manager H&S Training Standard
- Chemical safety
- Work equipment & Vehicle safety
- Electricity & Fire Safety
- Working at Height, Excavations Confined spaces
- Mechanical Handling, Manual Handling
- Noise & Vibration
- Housekeeping & Welfare
- Violence, Stress & Wellbeing
The practical on site exercises include risk assessment and site inspection exercises.
