Managing Safely
This 4 or 5* day course is designed to provide Health & Safety training for line management and those who have the responsibility to manage safely and effectively, to comply with both the organisation's policy and the legal requirements. Click here for Managing Safely flyer
Managing Safely (re-certification)
This one day programme is aimed at people in an organisation who have responsibility for managing risk and resources. The course provides a refresher and update to delegates already holding the managing safety certificate.
Managing Safely in Construction
This 4 ½ day course is designed to provide Health & Safety training for a wide variety of managers working in the construction sector , whether as an onsite manager, member of the project team or support team. The course focuses upon construction management issues including the latest HSE direction on the management of safety during design and build.
Managing Safely in Construction (re-certification)
This 4 day programme provides a refresher for those delegates who have already attended the Initial Managing Safely in Construction or general Managing Safely course. The middle 2 days are based on site, enabling attending delegates to hone their safety management skills.
Construction Design Management (CDM)
New for 2007
A 1 day IOSH certificate course designed to provide Construction & Health & Safety Professionals with an underpinning knowledge or refresher training in the CDM Regulations 2007.
Whether acting as Clients, Designers, Principal Contractors or part of a design team, this course is a must, for those involved in Construction Design and Management.
CITB grant funding available for CITB levy paying organisations.
Working Safely
This 1 day course is designed to provide Health & Safety Awareness for all workers to ensure that they can contribute to the safe working environment, and their responsibilities are understood.
Safety for Senior Executives
A 1 day course that will provide Senior Executives at Boardroom level with an overview of Health & Safety and how it applies to their level of responsibility. The course includes direction for Strategic level health and safety planning and reviewing, in line with current 'best practice' and HSE guidance.
Safety for Senior Fire Service Executives
(Area Manager/Brigade Manager level)
A 2 day executive course aimed at those with Strategic level responsibility within the fire service. This specific course will enable those attending to gather information and raise their awareness of health and safety issues to assist them with their strategic roles. (this course currently runs over 2 ½ days on the FSC's IPDS scheme).
Fire Risk assessment (Principles and Practice)
A 2 day Seminar and Workshop aimed at Managers and Safety Practitioners who are responsible for conducting Fire Risk Assessments. The course provides underpinning knowledge on the completion of basic and intermediate assessments.
A Classroom based first day explores the theoretical elements of fire risk assessment, the second day involves undertaking a practical risk assessment exercise.
Fire Safety Management
A 1 day seminar and workshop for managers and responsible persons, designed to bring attending delegates up to date with current Fire Safety Legislation and Fire Safety Management techniques - this is a must for those with the responsibility for fire safety in any type of workplace
Successful completion of the above courses will enable delegates to gain a nationally recognised certificate accredited by IOSH.
All of these courses will be tailored to meet YOUR Client requirements when delivered 'in company'.
The CDM Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety Management courses are currently delivered on behalf of IOSH as part of their CPD programme.
This course can be run 'in company' enabling successful delegates to receive an IOSH certificate.
