- managers with a responsibility for
fire safety in the workplace - those working in facilities management
- employee representatives and others
- those persons wishing to start a career in fire safety or occupational safety and health
* Delegates already holding the NEBOSH National General Certificate will receive an exemption to Unit NGC1

Teaching and Assessment Methods
A classroom based tutorial course with exercises and interactive delegate modules throughout.
Examinations
The certificate consists of three units, each separately assessed. Students may choose to take one, two or all three units at one time.
On successful completion of each unit, a Unit Certificate will be issued. However, in order to achieve the NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate qualification, students will need to pass each of the 3 units within a five-year period.
Please note students will normally be required to complete the practical assessment (Unit FC2) within 14 days of sitting the examination for unit FC1.

Five day programme to include theoretical and practical tutorials relating to fire plus examination day - Delegates must already hold NVQ level 3 or higher in Occupational Safety & Health.
